Q:
What In Da Hell Happen To Ya Website?
A: Okay, Alright. So we’ve been off the scene for a minute.
Folks have been emailing and calling us trying figure our why
we just disappeared. So here’s the lo down, in December
of 2001 our domain name www.UrbanFacez.com expired. On the morning
of the site expiration, a man in Taiwan bought it. So when we
attempted to re register our site, we were informed of the “new
owner”. We contacted the thief and he agreed to sell our
name back to us (ain’t that some shit). In any case, the
negotiation of a selling price and the re-transfering of ownership
took a minute. So Boys and Girls, there a few lessons to be
learned here: (1) Copyright your shit, cause mad folks lack
creativity and is looking for a payout off other folks ingenuity.
(2) The Culture Vultures are out there and in full force and
they be on they job 24/7 so we got to be on ours. And (3) Last
but not least DON’T SLEEP! We got to watch our backs cause
certain folks have been stealin’ our resources for centuries
and will continue to do so.

You Know Good?" |
This
month I thought I’d put ya’ll on to a couple of
spots to get ya Dance on. Nowadays, it’s hard to find
spots where you can dance and have a real good time, minus the
profilin’. All to many times I go to clubs and folks is
holding up walls, with 2ways and cell phones in hand. I ain’t
trying to stop your hustle, put save the posin’, 2way
taggin’ and profilin’ for after the party. Cause
I came to the club to dance and all ya’ll non body rockers
are cramping my style. SO, grab ya tank top and dancing shoes,
‘cause we about to do the damn thing!
Once a month, usually the last Tuesday, check out Jump N Funk
@ Shine Night Club on 285 West Broadway off Canal St. This party
is a tribute to the King of AfroBeat Fela Anikulapo Kuti and
features DJ Rich Medina. Just to give you a taste of how it’s
going down, picture a room full of black folks, getting’
down and having a good ass time. Standing Room Only ya’ll
so if you ain’t commin’ to dance, don’t come

The next spot I want to put you on to is KeiStar Productions
Rewind parties at Peppers (formerly Fahrenheit) . So, If you
wanna get down like ya mama and ‘dem use to, this is the
party to be at. ‘Cause Ain’t Nobody cookin’
up old skool dance grooves like these guys do. Yo! And the energy

got a lot of folks to thank this month. First of all I got to
thank the people, for supporting UrbanFacez
for all this time. Mad Folks emailed me, showing mad concern
while the site was down. And we really appreciate that. ‘Cause
truth be told UrbanFacez AIN’T SHIT without
